Shepherds watching their flocks by night
Saw the Bethlehem Star above,
And rejoicing, followed it
With offerings of their love.
As they knelt by the lowly manger
Adoring the new-born King,
A shepherdess among them wept
For she had no gift to bring.
Where the tears of the shepherdess, Madelon,
Touched the barren earth
Christmas roses sprang into bloom
On the Day of the Christ Child's birth!
Madelon gently picked the blossoms
And a Christmas rose bouquet
Was her gift of love to the infant
On that very first Christmas Day.

LEGAL INTERNSHIP FOR RUSSIAN SPEAKERS (LAW STUDENT OR PRE-LAW)
I am with Akin Gump in Moscow, Russia, and I also volunteer at an NGO that advances religious freedom in Russia, the Slavic Law Center. The Center publishes statutes and judicial opinions relating to religious freedom for use by the academic and political community. It also publishes legal journals. The Center maintains close ties with the LDS church in the effort to advance religious freedom.
I am looking for volunteer interns to assist me in translating some of these documents into English for publication, to make them accessible to English-speaking academicians and politicians who advance Religious Freedom.
The internship will be from January to April, and will take approximately two hours per week. The work will be transmitted via email.
If you are a law student or a pre-law student, please contact me regarding the internship.

Merry Christmas to all of you! Our little family remains in Salt Lake; we are expecting kidlette number two in February. Our first daughter's name is Robyn Katerina, after my hubby Rob, and our glorious mission! As a couple we have been working through Share My Gospel.
