Hello Yekaters!!!!
The time has come for a Russia Yekaterinburg mission reunion! As you are aware, President and Sister Gee have recently returned from Russia and we are excited to get everyone together again! Following are the details:
DATE: Friday, SEPTEMBER 30, 2005
TIME: 6:00 - 9:00 p.m.
LOCATION: LDS Chapel
910 E 700 N, Provo, UT
(southeast of BYU campus)
DATE: SEPTEMBER 30
Seeing that people like to have something to eat, we ask that everyone bring something to snack on while we visit with friends and former companions. May we suggest the following:
If your last name starts with a letter between
A-F: Vegetables or Fruit (for 5-8 people)
G-M: Chips and/or dip
N-S: Dessert (for 5-8 people)
T-Z: Drink
We'll provide the cups, plates, and napkins.
Did we mention that it is going to be on SEPTEMBER 30?
This reunion is to provide a chance to visit with old friends and make new ones, but there will also be a short program in which President and Sister Gee will speak to us and show a few pictures. That program will begin at 7:00 p.m. Also, if you would like to add pictures to the slideshow, send the pictures to geemj@geenet.org.
If you have any questions, feel free to email Noah Dunlap at nonoinrussia_mtz@hotmail.com, or Brandon Porter at porteryekat@hotmail.com. We look forward to seeing you there! Also, we would like somewhat of an idea of the numbers of who will be coming, so please send an RSVP to either of these addresses as well.
We look forward to seeing you SEPTEMBER 30!!!
P.S. Please forward this to all the missionaries on your e-mail lists, or call those who you know don't have e-mail. If everyone gets 4 or 5 copies of the e-mail, that's o.k.!

Jhenya,
Jhenya is an accepted by everyone in the Soviet Union nick name for Evgenia. It's very funny, but for every Slavik name there is a nick name, and the nick name might not sound as an original name at all! But Jhenya is a nick name for Evgenia.
When I was younger somewhere I read that Evgenia from Greek translates as Honorable. In USA I used a short form of Evgenia- Eve. so it would be easy for people to remember, because it seems very hard for them to pronounce Jhenya. But in the Russian orthographic dictionary these two names, Evgenia and Eve, separated by comma. So there is a chance that they carry the same meaning.
But, it's something for you to explore! If you will find something new, please, let me know!
