Hey folks, Just got back from my trip to Russia. For those who know Genadi Petrov, we stayed with him in St. Petersburg and he is doing well. He is married and has a son named Boris. I also talked to the Ilini (Nikolai and Olya). You know, the rock solid family from Ufa. They moved to St. Petersburg where he is working as a car mechanic. We also spent time in Chelyabinsk and Ufa. Those members are great. They haven't forgotten you so pick up a pen and write those you know a letter. Chatterly, the Denisovi are doing great. Vitalic is no longer b. pres. but 1 counselor. They said hello. Pugs, all your CH-T-Z folk are doing great as well. They send a shout out as well. I could go on forever but I'll spare you.

I am trying to find a Russian-speaking returned missionary in a 25-mile radius around Newark/Fremont, California who can help us with a Russian-speaking investigator.
Any suggestions would be helpful!

Ponchik, and anyone else who might be interested-- I arrived in Ufa in about August of 1995 as an Yekat missionary. There was a group of 7 of us including two russians that were the first missionaries called to Yekat. Everyone we served with there were called to the other mission and ended their mission as an Yekat missionary.
