I'm trying to help a couple who are planning to adopt a baby in Ekaterinburg. Does anyone know of an inexpensive hotel there? I know that prices vary quite a bit once you're in the country. Naturally, everything on the internet is overpriced, as they know they are getting foreign money. Also, does the mission have any couples there right now that are MDs? When I served, we had a few who worked with the hospitals.
Any details would be appreciated.

We, my husband and I, are coming from Orem, Utah to Perm, on December 7th. We are adopting two little boys and this will be the first of two trips. We are wondering if there is anyone who lives in the USA who is in Perm. If you want to send us your family's emails we will make contact and see if there is a care package that we could bring with us. We hope all is well and we look forward to our first visit in Russia. :)

Hi everyone, I am so very excited because I just found out that I will be serving my mission in Yekaterinburg. I was completely shocked that I was called there but I am so excited. I will be going to the MTC January 29th and so I am kind of glad when I finally get to Russia, Winter will be winding down. I am from California so that cold weather I think is going to be brutal. Either way I am very excited to be coming there soon and hopefully I will get to meet some of you if you live there. See you all soon.

Our dear brothers & sisters.
We’re writing this on behalf of all the youth of the Yekaterinburg mission Russia. For a long time (about 3 years) we have been planning this great project of having a conference for the youth of the whole mission. It was planned for this coming December but because of the trip to Saratov that we had last august for the Temple dedication we’re out of our budget. In order to have the YSA conference we need to get 13.000 $ more. About 10 cities of the mission would be able to participate & about 300 young people would be able to get if we found this amount of money. We haven’t been able to have YSA conference foe 3 years Y we’ve been really looking forward for this one/ we will be really thankful to each & everyone who can help us to find ways of getting this money. We will also be grateful to those who can spred this message around.
