just wanted to let you all know that russia has passed a law that now makes it possible for people to own land. that is, they can buy it and then own the stuff, buildings, that are on it. think of it. now we can build temples, churches and bishop storehouses in russia. it has already passed through their congress and just needs to be signed by pres. putin. this has come about because outside investors have not wanted to expand into russia with the uncertainty of their business in a building they didn't own.

I have a missionary serving in yekat. I've been told that I won't be able to mail anything to him like foods, etc. Is this true? What sorts of things get thru customs these days?

Becky and I had our very first child on September 24th. Her name is Taylor Anastasia Nelson. She was little porker too - 9lbs2oz!! I'll post some pictures on my website soon - she's sooo cute!!

This is short notice, but we just wanted to let anyone know who is in the area and knew Ryan Reynolds that his birthday is Sat, Sept. 22, and we're planning a surprise party for him Friday night, Sept. 21, at 7pm in Provo.
We're all meeting at apt. #35 in Cinnamon Tree Apt. which is 1285 N on Freedom Bld. for the surprise and cake and icecream. Anyone is invited and if you know anyone else that might want to come, let them know. At 9pm we're going to a movie.

My dear friends! I just wanted to tell you that all of the American people who suffered from those terrible attacks in America are in our prayers. It's really terrible. I was totally shoked when I heard about it. Me and my mom stayed up all night watching the Tv, when this tragedy happened. My mom isnt a member of the Church, but both, her and I cryed all night. We want to let you know that we have a great compassion for your people, and that they're in our prayers. It is very hard to realize that there is such hate and anger, but in the same time it unites people, and even makes us stronger. May God bless all of us with love and compassion. Love, Zhanna
